How long does it take to complete the training?

The time it takes to complete the training depends on the course(s) you have been assigned. The Hazard Perception Evaluation is comprised of 20 real-life driving scenario questions and 28 multiple choice questions. On average, it takes 30-40 minutes to complete the Hazard Perception Evaluation.

The Defensive Driver Training / Targeted Training modules should each take approximately 10-20 minutes to complete.  Each module is comprised of written content, as well as a short video, followed by a knowledge assessment.  Please note that each module has its own designated due date, and you may not be required to complete all the modules assigned to you at once.

A Policy Test can span from 20-60 minutes, depending on the length of your company’s driver safety policy.  A Policy Test requires you to read through your company’s driver safety policy, and complete a knowledge assessment to ensure comprehension of the policy.

If at any time you are unable to complete your training in one session, you can log out and log back in at a later time to complete it.  Your progress will automatically be saved as each question is answered, so upon login you will begin where you left off.
